Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy
- You own what you upload. We only use it to run PitchProof for you.
- Do not upload content that belongs to someone else without permission.
- Rights holders can send us a takedown notice. We act on valid notices.
- Repeat infringers may lose their account.
Ownership
You keep ownership of your content. PitchProof's own software, design, name and logo belong to CML Electronics.
Third-party content
Do not upload broadcasts, club footage, music or other material unless you own it or have permission. Club crests and competition marks remain the property of their owners.
Takedown notices
If you believe content on PitchProof infringes your rights, send a notice to LEGAL_CONTACT_REQUIRED with:
- your name and contact details;
- the work you believe is infringed;
- where the content is on PitchProof (a link or the player's Passport name);
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised;
- a statement that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
You can also use "Report" with the reason "Copyright". We review notices, may restrict the content while we review it, and notify the uploader.
Counter-notices
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you can appeal in the app or write to LEGAL_CONTACT_REQUIRED explaining why you have the right to use it.
Repeat infringement
Accounts that repeatedly upload infringing content may be suspended or disabled.
